Happy Father's Day!
To the fathers, father figures, and mentors who guide with strength, generosity, and
care, thank you for all that you do. Your steady presence, encouragement, and commitment
make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and help shape a strong and supportive
community. We recognize the many ways you accompany, mentor, and uplift those around
you. Through everyday acts of support and guidance, you help others grow, thrive,
and feel valued.
Happy Juneteenth!
Juneteenth is a time to pause and commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African
Americans in the United States. It marks June 19, 1865, when news of freedom finally
reached those who had been enslaved in Galveston, Texas. Guided by the Ignatian call
to be people for and with others, we honor the resilience and enduring legacy of Black
communities and reflect on our shared responsibility to advance justice and dignity
for all. At Â鶹´«Ã½, this day invites us to learn, to listen, and to build a more inclusive
and equitable community. As we observe this day, may we remember, reflect, and celebrate
freedom.

June is PRIDE Month
Pride Month is a time to pause and celebrate the history, contributions, and vibrant
identities of LGBTQ+ individuals and communities. It honors the ongoing journey toward
visibility, dignity, and belonging for all. This month we proudly celebrate our LGBTQ+
students, faculty, staff, and alumni, whose authenticity, courage, and joy bring strength
and life to our campus. Celebrating Pride is important because it uplifts voices,
affirms identity, and helps create a community where everyone feels seen, supported,
and valued. This month invites us to learn, to listen, and to come together in celebration
of one another.
